First Industries Agriculture Program

		Any for-profit business involved in production agriculture, agribusiness, the sale of farm commodities at wholesale or retail, farmers' markets, energy-related activities impacting production agriculture or agribusiness, or activities which implement best practices related to agricultural waste, waste products and byproducts, or fertilizer.
		Land acquisition, site improvements, acquisition of existing building, building renovation, leasehold improvements, new construction, machinery & equipment, working capital, and certain soft costs.
		$200,000 or 50% of the eligible project costs, whichever is less.  Loans for working capital cannot exceed $100,000.
		3% fixed for the life of the loan.  If the project property is located in an Agricultural Security Area, the interest rate will be 2% fixed for the life of the loan.
		Three (3) years for working capital; 10 years for machinery and equipment; 15 years for real estate.  Blended term will apply for mixed use of funds.
		Equity (cash) into the project is encouraged, however other factors of the loan may reduce the need for equity into the project.
		There are no requirements to create jobs as a result of the loan.
		SEDA-COG charges a 1% commitment fee, a 1% closing fee, and a minimum $500 legal fee.
